Social Work Exam Review

It's In There!

What is the the best study material for taking the Master's exam. I took it the first time in May of 2009, I did study for it from the material I received in 2004. I was confident that I passed. I hope to take it a second time- if I fail I am going to hang it up.

Hey Kermit- I am actually not totally sure what is the best study material. I was trying to get that answered too. I am currently using Dr. Lintons (socialworkexam.com). It does cost but everything is virtual and online. So for me, its more engaging cause I am not one to just look at material and automatically get it. But you can print out flash cards and any of the material that comes on the screen. And for a lot of it I have been wirting out the definitions just because that method helps me to remember things. So far its a good study material just a lot of info to digest period. I am not sure of this Dr. D's study material/workshops tho. Where is he based? I will actually be taking my exam in a couple weeks.

I used Academic Review to study for the exam and I discovered that all the information I studied was on the test today. I was very helpful in passing the exam.

Hey Natalie- congrats on the passing that is really good. What is the academic review? What type of information was on this review that you found was on the test. Just trying to get a consensus of what the most important info to study. It seems like a lot. If you're interested in letting me pick your brain about the test, please email me at nparson20@yahoo.com. Thanks and CONGRATs again.
