Just graduated w/MSW and taking exam in 3 weks. Been studying for about a month, is that enough time?

At 11:47pm on September 25, 2009, Olga Figueiredo said…: I graduated in May also and took the exam in Aug.25, 2009. I got a 71 (shy by 4 pts) I studied like crazy from early Jun until test day. I took the Hunter college review course thru NASW last summer and took a review at Stony Brook in June this year and another review at St. John's in Aug one week before the exam. I thought I was well prepared. But as soon as I can register again (after 90 days) I am taking it again. So don't give up, I haven't.

Acknowledge feelings first. I was done after 2 1/2 hours. I wish I would taken a little break then went through all the questions again. I started going over it but I needed a break. The LSW has to do more with recall and what you can remember when it comes to terms, ethics, practice, etc. Really devote your time to repetition and memorizing. That always worked for me.
