I finally passed the exam after my third attempt. The first two times I failed by one point. I was really thinking of giving up and then remembered what the great Winston Churchill once said, "Never, never, never, give up!"

TS don't let your nerves get the best of you. Stay calm and believe you can do it. make sure you review ethics, family therapy, Eric Erikson, ego psychology. I studied my butt off and I think about 25 % of what I studied was on the test. Focus on test taking strategies, I did a lot of sample tests that explained the rationale for the answers. I think this method helped me the most. Read the qustions very carefully and check all choices. Good luck!
I am SOOO nervous about this test. Congrats to you, my friend. Doyou have any tips? What types of questions were on the exam? I'm studying theories and medications, mostly, because that is what i'm having the most trouble with, but any advice you are willing to give, would be AWESOME!!!

I will definetely keep up with the CEUs because I love the profession so much. Good luck to you Kim, you will do it!. Dr.Linton, thanks for a great support medium.
Great you passed! Now keep those CEU's up-to-date so you never have to take this thing again! In all the years I've been doing this, the one thing that seems to be constant is that if you keep trying you WILL pass this exam!
Congrats on passing it! I am taking mines by the end of this month (I won't say the date though)! I am going to accomplish my goal because what I want to do careerwise, I need to obtain my license. I am taking it at another center...wish me luck and those who have passed it, if there are any more tips to share, please give them because I appreciate it. I plan to reach out to those who need to pass it more when I accomplish my goal and it will be by the end of the month.

The best advice I can give you, focus on test strategy. Read the question very carefully and check all the choices before picking one. Most of the time there are more then one correct answers, your job is to pick the best answer, be careful. Stay calm, pace yourself but use the whole 4 hrs and good luck, you will do it!
congratulations! I am going to take the exam in January. I hate tests. The anxiety is terrible but I have decided that I have empowered my clients and now I must empower myself!
